Well friends, the bubbly has been poured, the cake has been eaten, and we have danced our hearts out this weekend…but that’s not the end of our It’s a Wonderful Life 75th Anniversary Celebration!
Since this is a busy time of year we have some late entries coming in, affording us just a little more time in Bedford Falls.
So keep your eyes on this page as more posts continue to trickle in…
Reading through the posts this weekend, I have noticed this film has a deeply personal effect on each of us, thereby causing ambivalence, indifference, or admiration; but in all cases, a relatability that is hard to deny.
Participants, thank you for generously giving of your time and talents in remembrance of this iconic holiday classic! You’ve made this celebration worthy of Capra’s legendary film.
I hope this event has made us all look at the film a bit differently, whereby giving us new appreciation as we sit down for our annual viewings.
I leave you with the delightful 1947 Lux Radio Adaptation of “It’s a Wonderful Life” starring James Stewart, Donna Reed, and Victor Moore.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas!!
