Seasons Greetings to all!
As it is the time of year that we reflect on what we hold most dear and anticipate what is to come, I must express my joy upon returning to my blog this year.
As some of you know, I had been away from blogging for the better part of 2021, but coming back has been satisfying, rewarding, and ultimately, life-giving.
I’ve been privileged to make new friends, reconnect with others, and participate in a number of fabulous blogathons hosted by terrific bloggers with a deep passion for cinema. The year also brought new, exciting opportunities, such as hosting my first two blogathons (which were inspiring and an absolute blast)!
That is the gift you’ve given me through your friendship, support, lovely comments, and the wonderful times we have chatting and discovering movies together.
I couldn’t ask for a more meaningful gift. Thank you!
Now I know you have some holiday goodies to get to, but I do want to make a brief mention…
As you can tell our girl Ava is decked out in holiday cheer…isn’t that dress (with what appears to be velvet trim) divine?
But did you know Ava Gardner has a special link to Christmas? Ava was born December 24, 1922 – 99 years ago today.
Wishing you all the happiest, brightest, and the most peaceful holiday season.
Enjoy “Christmas Dreaming” sung by Frank Sinatra. Somehow, I think Ava would approve 🙂
